The Stimulite® Mattress Overlay has been tested in nursing homes, hospitals and homecare and is ideal for the prevention and treatment of patients who are at high-risk for decubitus or have existing pressure sores.

Weighing only 12 pounds and measuring 3 inches thick, the lightweight 36" x 80" Stimulite Mattress Overlay, which fits a standard hospital bed, is made from an advanced biomaterial that is antifungal, antibacterial and odor resistant. For those who are incontinent, an incontinence pad can be placed beneath the overlay — enabling fluid to drain through the overlay while keeping the skin dry.

A breathable sheet, which wisks away moisture, works in conjunction with the honeycomb material to complete the ventilation system. Like our Stimulite Honeycomb Cushions, the low-maintenance Stimulite Mattress Overlay is machine washable and dryer safe. It can be placed in a commercial washer and dryer and comes with its own special laundry bag.
